Yes and no... First, you must have the connection on the new motherboard. If the drive is IDE and your new board has say one IDE connection and then 4 SATA, then you might have problems.
Also, you can't run Windows from an old drive on new hardware. If you plan to format and reload windows, or the motherboard's basically identical, then you're fine.
