Pc reboots or crashes to desktop?
When I play Crysis Demo after like 30 min. or so it reboots or crashes to desktop. I have no clue whats causing it. If I run 06 bechmark it works great.
Specs.
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 675 (PC2 5400) cloack at 800

Seagate 80 gig HDD sata 3.0
Nvidia 7900 gt
COD2 6300 OC 3.0
P5K-E motherboard
550 watts PSU
Samsung 203B SATA DVD drive.
 
Video and sound drivers are generally the first thing to look at with game crashes. Sometimes the game itself will try to access a reserved memory address when one of it's own software drivers fails. Remember that is also a demo not the finished product so don't expect it to be very reliable. Those were never intended for long term game play but a quick look to get a feel of what the full retail version is like.
 
Thanx for the help but ended up being my PSU getting hot. I turned up the fan speed and now it works great.
 
Something overheating will do it for sure. It sounds like you probably need to get a far better supply then the one you are using now. That one doesn't seem to have any good regulation seen when you place any type of load on it.
