PC restarting, is my cpu or motherboard overheating?

Sorry if i posted this on wrong section.
My computer restarts at random times, maybe 4 or 6 times a day. most likely when i play games (dota2) or even just browsing. i downloaded temperature monitor apps wondering if my pc is overheating. Are these apps accurate?

Most likely an overheating PCH (chipset. Bottom right hand section of the board). I've seen ASUS do some messed up things with TIM and thermal pads. I'd just unscrew the PCH heatsink, clean the gunk off, replace with seriously good quality TIM and reapply the heatsink.
