Pc Shut Down

Hi guys i m a new memeber
anyway
i have a problem with my PC
when i m playing videos or playing music on media player, the computer automatically shuts down i dont whtas the problem.Is is becasue am i running too many application at the same time or what i dont know or do i need to upgrade anything .. pls help me out thanks
 
sounde like your cpu is to hot next time it shuts down go into bios and note down the cpu temp then post back
 
Before we can suggest anything, gie us the specs of your PC or at least the manufacturer or model number.
