Please tell me if I am barking up the wrong tree so I don't burn tons of time with 3 kids under 5 that deserve my attention every waking moment.
Nutshell:
New home construction, Cat 5 throughout.
Great Room/Kitchen wide open. Desktop in kitchen that can view plasma on wall across the room. I thought is would be cool use of the plasma (Panasonic EDTV, 3 yrs old) with a cordless keyboard/gyroscope mouse on the plasma when wanting to chill on couch. Computer technician connected with s-video and its a little cloudy. Does anyone here suggest not proceeding or any other suggestions?

BTW tech is putting media center in basement so we can view pics/videos on plasma and all pcs/laptops.
