PC TV Cards

Im cosidering getting a PC TV card. I just want to know how it works.

Do i just whack the card in my PC and install the software and we are done.

Or do i have to send cables downstairs?


Basicly is it all within my PC or do i need to plug it in elsewhere?

You have to connect an antenna, or satellite/cable receiver to receive a signal.

Exactly the same as you would a plug an ariel into a TV. Or if you have a cable tuner (I think you can get those in the States?), a cable lead into the cable box.

You can use a little portable ariel but the reception will not be as good as with a proper roof mounted one.
