pc usage pecentage rises using internet explorer, please help.

I use a hp pavilion a1230n model. A day ago, I did a restructive recovery on my computer and after I have gotten everything up with its windows and everything, everytime I start up Internet explorer and go to websites such as myspace, the cpu usage goes up to almost 100%. (or is it normal for the pc usage to sky rocket like that through certain websites?) I taught that my PC was going to run smooth after I did a system recovery. I ranned pc doctor to scan everything in my computer and everything came out to be fine. My pc also has 1 GB of RAM, 200 GB HD, AMD 64 ATHLON, and is running windows XP.

I also ran hijackthis so anyone can have an idea of whats going on through my computer. Please someone help, thanks.

so you mean it is normal that when your on a website, doing something on a program, etc, that it goes up around 100%? Also, is it normal when your viewing a video it is around 50%?
 
I also noticed that when I use the windows media player to play songs, the cpu usage sometimes go near to 70% when visualization is on. Is this normal? What can I do to stop this problem? Could there be something wrong inside my computer?
