Pc will not detect wireless adapter card ?

Hi,

i have just put a wireless card in my pc and it will not detect it at all, i know it works as it was in my previous pc, even in device manager it does not detect it..

i have a Dell dimension 2400 on windows xp home edition, any one have any idea's ? all i want is to play some counter strike

Have you tried it in each of the pci slots ?

Did you install the drivers? Your adapter should have come with a disc that had them on there.

Windows XP is not automation install driver so you will need installing driver from website or CD by yourself.

yes go download the drivers from the website that makes the wireless adapter
