PC wireless problem

I have an asus wireless card, and it used to work great on my desktop. There are many computers in the house, and there aren't enough cords to go around. Well my brother (who passed away) left a password to encrypt my computer after helping me install the asus card. And after time, I reinstalled windows so everything went smoothly except for the card. I've always used the Comcast service, and always have had a linksys router. The card is installed and I see the encrypted network, I just don't know the passphrase. Can anyone help me out on resetting WEP and SSID settings???

well you're not really going to be able to crack it, it's designed so you can't obviously. Did you set a passowrd for your security settings on the router itself? Like type in 192.168.1.1 in your browser for whatever computer you have physically wired into the router, then see if you can change the settings there, it there's no password on the router's settings you can change it to whatever you'd like

My router resets all settings by the reset option. Have not a clue as to why yours will not. If it's that important consider replacing the device. I honestly think there must be a problem if it won't reset.
