a few months ago, I installed a new video card into my computer (ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 low profile 512 MB) and after i installed it and booted it up, it said that startup required System CD, obviously it does not require the CD to run or Boot up since it can run if i take it out just after it gets to the windows startup screen. anyone have any ideas on how i can stop it from doing that?

Your system is missing a file, which the install cd has. I suggest doing a repair install of the Operating System.

John is right, when the computer turns on it uses certain files, and one must be missing/moved. Put the CD in and, as he said, do a repair.

If all else fails, which is unlikely, format and reinstall your OS. Doubt you'll have to do that though. Goodluck anyway with fixing it.
