PC Won't Boot

Hey, guys:

I hope this is the correct forum for this. If not, mods please feel free to move it. I just purchased and built my computer. Everything seemed to be working fine until I went into the BIOS and set the memory timing to 4-4-4-12. I've read that the memory I had is 5-5-5-18 but can be bumped without even adjusting voltage.

Well, after setting these, my computer shuts down. When I first tried to reboot it, it would just constantly beep and wouldn't turn on. So I re-installed the memory and, alas, the beeping problem was fixed. Now, my issue is that the PC will turn on for a few seconds, then shut off for a few seconds, and then turn on and run, BUT there's no display. I've re-installed the video card, booted with and without the driver disk, and ensured all cords were properly secured. I even changed the PCI-E cord that was feeding it power from the PS (in case the video card wasn't getting power, even though the fan was working).

Here's the specs:

MOBO: DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 Conroe 2.33GHz LGA 775l
Video Card: ASUS EAH3850/G/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0
Power Supply: Rosewill RD550N-2DB-SL-BK ATX Form Factor 12V V2.2 / SSI standard EPS 12V 550W Active PFC Power Supply
Memory: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX

Is there anything you guys can think of? I'm sure the "turn on-turn off-turn on w/ no display" may be a bit of a common error, but it sucks, because I can't even get into the BIOS or do anything.

Edit: I don't believe it's a hardware issue, as it was working beautifully. Is there anyway to go back to default settings without being able to get into the BIOS? I think it may be some sort of safety feature that forces it to shut down and then come back on.

try resseting the bios, take the battery of the mobo and go to your manuel to find out what jumper to move to reset the bios.
