Hey guys. Ok, my problem is that when i turn on my desktop computer, it will go to the screen that gives u a choice on how u want to start ur computer (Safe Mode, Normal, etc.). But when i go to hit normal or start with last known good configuration, it will go to the loading screen and restart my computer. And if i pick one of the safe modes, it will stop on
"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\agp440.sys"
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!MY COMPUTERS ARE GOING HAYWIRE ON ME!!!!

Big probably your windows partition filesystem is corrupted based on my experience. Do a scandisk

i cant even start my computer. all it will do is restart and do the same thing over and over and over again

the "agp440.sys is probably corrupt then, a corrupted system file will create eratic behaviour or an unbootable machine.

Get the OS disk (should have come with your system if you bought pre-built or you should still have the one you installed on your system if you built it yourself) and boot from the disk. There is an option there to repair windows. Run that, see if it starts then

but see, i tryed that and it wont boot from the disk. i when into the, i think it wasmy computers for of BIOS but is was called GIGA-BYTE. Anyways, i went to repair the computer and it says there is an error signature or somthing like that that will just resart my computer again

If you have a spare hard drive ith or without os then stick that it. Install OS if needed.

Make that drive the master and the non-working one a slave. Run scan disk through that one. If you still cant do that but can see the drive then back up everything you need and format the drive, reinstall OS and start fresh

If you use windows vista, use your vista dvd and you can find repair computer option after you boot the dvd then choose command prompt and do scandisk to your harddrive.
