I have DDR2 SDRAM PC2-4200. I'm gonna upgrade to 2 gb, does it have to be pc2-4200? or does it not matter as long as its ddr2?

Any DDR2/PC2 RAM should work, but it's always best to stick with the standard your mobo's running. I've seen some board that didn't like newer versions of RAM, even though they should be interchangeable.

Yeah it shouldn't matter, but if your board can only use a certain speed there's no point getting faster RAM unless you are going to try and overclock. Slower RAM is cheaper :)
