geranimo:// New Member May 17, 2006 #1 I just bought a new laptop, and CPU-Z says it has 2x512MB PC4300 @266.7Mhz, but I thought PC4300 memory was @ 533Mhz? Is it underclocked maybe? I'm running a Pentium M 760, 2Ghz.

palmmann banned May 17, 2006 #2 no, ddr stands for "double data rate", meaning it is at 266.7mhz. double this and it is at 533.
