PCI-e 16x v2

Will I notice a big difference from a PCI-E 16x v. 2 card if I upgrade to a v. 2 mobo? Right now I am running my GPU, which is PCI-E 2, from my mobo which is only v. 1.
please advise, thx:confused:
 
Not really, if you have like a GTX 260 or 4870 and above you might lose a frame. But lowerend and mid range cards, no.
 
Thank god for that, I havent upgraded since like 2007 and I was definitely not looking forward to buying and installing a new mobo.
