PCI-E Question

Im considering building a backup PC using a Asrock PV530 mobo/VIA but i noticed the Pci-e only runs at 8x. Ill be using a GT430 with 2 gigs DDR3.

I understand that an 8x- 8x SLI setup has very little performance loss compared to 16x-16x, but how would a 8x bus affect a lower end single card? :confused:
 
x8 verusus x16 is actually the size (length) of the expansion slot. they do have different speed throughput as well
there is very little difference in performance between the two though if I'm not mistaken

i dont think it would affect a lower end single card too much, maybe a fraction of a second difference.
