pci express 2.0 What is this

what is pci express 2.0 and what is a good mobo with this on it. asking cuz the 8800GT is insane for the price and only is offered in this way.

Pci-e v2.0 is a revision of the pcie expansion slot. It doubles bandwidth, i think. it might have other features, i dunno, google it.

when do they come out... im plaining on building a comp just after the new year... and with this i have alot more money to spend cuz of the savings from a gtx or even gts
