PCI express slot, but PCMCIA soundcard

I have a laptop that's meant for PCI EXPRESS cards.
However, my soundcard is PCMCIA. :(
Does anyone have a solution to my troubles?

I've seen that there are some PCMCIA adapters that are connected through USB with laptop, but all that I've ran into on the web are meant for wireless
internet so I don't know if soundcard could work through that.

Is anyone familiar with some sort of adapter/cabel or something that would transform PCI EXPRESS slot into PCMCIA?

Any kind of help will be more than appreciated. Thanks!

...what? Basically every current sound card still runs off of the PCI bus(or PCMCIA for laptops). Your laptop doesn't have a PCIex slot inside of it. It probably just has a bus to the onboard graphics.

What would the point of a PCI Express to PCMCIA converter be, anyway. You wouldn't get speeds beyond PCI/PCMCIA if there was such a device.

explanation

I'll try to be as clear as I can.
My laptop has PCIexpress bus, meaning I can use PCI express cards with it.
Which is great because it's much faster than PCMCIA.
However, my Echo Indigo DJ soundcard is PCMCIA.
I don't have PCMCIA bus on my laptop.
Is there a way to use it on my laptop?

help!

anyone??
I really need help with this one people.
If there is no way that I can use this card with this laptop
I'll have to sell the soundcaard and buy something else,
some firewire device.
But I want to make sure whether there still is some way
to plug this soundcard into my laptop. Please!
Thanks!

well, you cant use it if you dont have the bus for it,there is no adapter or converter for laptops or probably none for even desktop computers to do that.
