Hey guys,

didnt know where to post this one realy but as been as its a question about my BIOS i though this would be the right place?

anyway i was looking around in my BIOS and seen an option i didnt notice before.

PNP/PCI Configirations

theres an option in there for PCI Latecy Timer and when i click on that theres the following option.

Primary Graphics Adapter - [PCI-E]
Pci Latecy Timer - [64]

now i noticed on the Pci Latecy Timer setting i can change it to 32,64,96 or 128.

what should this option be set to for best performance of my 8800GT,its currently set to [64] as you can see above.

Many thanks.

stock timing would be your best bet. pci latency isnt something to mess around with, really, unless your having problems with sound crackling and popping. if your sound cards latency is lower then your video latency then you could have popping and crackling.

Since pci express is point to point, this timer has no effect on a pci-e gfx card. Only on the pci bus, which is shared by multiple devices.
