PCI vs AGP ???

Just curious wuts the difference between PCI Express and AGP. Im not really PC SMART.. what are they exactly ?

To put it very simple. PCI EXPRESS Vs. AGP
PCI-E is the new era of interface for gpu's. Although ati just released the best agp card a couple of weeks ago, that will probably be the last of any new agp cards. In general PCI-E is better in everything compared to agp.

PCI and PCI-Express are different interfaces.

No, in order for a PCI card to work, there must be a PCI slot on your motherboard. And same for AGP.

Pretty much any motherboard, new or fairly old, will have PCI, but if it's too old then it may not work with todays hardware. And the same goes for AGP.
