PCIx power adapter needed?

Does this card need a PCI Express 6-pin power adapter? I've looked but can't see a place where it would plug in if it were needed.

The midrange PCIe cards can get enough power from the PCIe bus, the 6 pin connector is for the highend cards (like an x850, 6800Ultra, and I think GT as well)

THe 6800GT does require extra power... And if yours needs a cable, it should come with it...
