PDA Phone Question

I am wanting to get a PDA phone for Christmas, but I am not sure which one to ask for. I have Alltel for my wireless carrier and am not interested in changing.

So, has anybody had any experience with the HTC PPC6800? It will work with mobile broad band or WiFi. It also says that it can be used as a modem for a PC. These are nice features that I think I would like but would like some input from someone that has one.

I have heard good things about the HTC, but im not "that" familiar with it.. i've always used palm treos. I like the HTC's, are there any reviews on it?

I have always found HTC's phone designs to be quite nice. They feel nice, and feel like a solid phone.

Only problem is, they generally run on Windows Mobile.

That is the only reason I don't buy them anymore.

Some people hate it, some people like it.. you would just have to give it a try. Personally ive never really "hated" or liked it. I have alway been with palm os because i love how many thousands of apps are out for it and its so customizable.

But if you got the HTC, you might absolutely love it! :P

Well, I got the phone. I am not impresses with the windows mobile 6. Mostly the IE. There is no support for sites that use Flash like Youtube. I am not sure if the Palm OS is any better???

only way to stream video on the treo, is with "kinoma player" and is $25. I have it and use it, can be easy to use once you get used to it. If you dont have a unlimited data plan you'll get slammed.
