my mobo as u can see in the sig and it only supports DDR 400 by using FSB 800 processors which is the second one on the topic ... i put it on and the RAM is still on 333

dont ask me if it's DDR 400 at the first place because it is and it's dual channel kit which my mobo doesnt support either
so any help why DDR 400 is not enabled

and i keep getting Blue Screen of DEATH when i try to setup windows xp sp2 on the 845PE-RZ with the first processor the 533

i exchange processors with the mobos and everything goes back to normal
 
RMA the crap proc.
also, the ram is running at ddr333 because thats probably the motherboards default speed. you should be able to change that in the bios.
 
sorry i didnt get what u mean

and i tried the BIOS many times before it couldnt change it
but it's written in the manual that it supports DDR 400 with FSB 800 p4 processors
