Hello all,
Like the title says, do any of you guys have suggestions for a new mother board for my 4ish year old Dell 9100 that went TU?
I read a lot and tried to resurrect this thing but the BSOD continually reappears - even after "dangle-installing" the HD on my other Vista machine and doing a complete format on the HD and then attempting a Windows install....BSOD. After talking with co-workers, it might be that something just gave up on the mother board and it's time to buy new.
The current MOBO has these numbers:
CN-OX8582-70821-56G-GOMT
P/N: 316736100010_RO1_AOO
(Of course I don't know if the "Os" are zeros or the letter "O.")
And like I mentioned before it runs a Pentium D 2.8 ghz, w/2 gig of RAM and XP Home Edition.
I'd really rather try and throw something at it rather than buying or building new.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance,
Jon in American Fork
