This is what I got. Now, I was looking at my CPU Usage and it shows that I have a dual-core. And I looked it up, and it was a dual core. Now how does this compare to the Core 2 Duo's? I'm just interested because pretty soon here I am going to build my own computer!
 
unfortunately for guys like u and me the C2Ds or C2Qs are way better. but unless u are knee deep in multithreaded apps or notice every minuscule performance change, then its not necessary. It really depends on what u use it for.
 
It isn't great compared to the Core 2 Duo series or against the AMD X2 series, but it is a dual core.
 
As the others have said, it's a decent processor and a decent dual-cores, but AMD's X2 and the Intel Core 2 Duo's outperform it significantly.
