How does the Pentium M's Compare to the Desktop processors, im getting a work computer for photoshop and illustrator, and I was thinking about getting a dell xps laptop, but the Pentium m's clock was lower....
the clock really doesnt matter (as much) when it comes to a mobile processor, because now-a-days they are either dual core, 64 bit, or have an ass load of cache, and sumtimes decent fsb's
pentium-m stack damn well agains your p4's, if overclocked well they will tear desktop p4 to pieces.
