Performance and Compliments?

For a laptop, is there any noticeable difference between 1.8 ghz and 2.0 ghz processor and would a 1.8 ghz processor properly compliment a 8600m GT?

The 1.8Ghz would be fine, although I would upgrade to 2.0Ghz if it costs under $75.

I want to but it puts me slightly over-budget. I did manage to get $80 off on the phone with a salesman so I could use that for the upgrade instead of saving it.......

1.8 to 2.0ghz is hardly worth it in my opinion.. It'd just be a small increase in performance. Save it for a 8800GTX.

Well a .2ghz upgrade isn't going to do you much good, but if the cash is burning a whole in your pocket then i don't see any objections. Better out than in.
