Ever since I got my system I thought it wasn't preforming to par. My system is in my sig.

I just took my first shot at oc'ing and idk how it went. I think ok lol. I just oc'ed it by 400mhz. I was running super pi to bench it. Before with nothing oc'ed I was getting about 45s. After the oc I got 40s. I don't think that is low enough for my system let alone not for a 400mhz oc.

A friend of mine has basically the same system and he get 36s with out any oc'ing. We both have the same cpu, 2 gigs of ram, same chipset on mobo.

IDK whats up.

Also- I'm basically on a new format and have no backround apps running while running it.

There could be any number of thing influencing it...running system prcesses, even the system temp could effect it...i wouldnt worry about it..its hard to build two systems that perform totaly equal..
 
I know all that, and it's not that I want our systems to be par. It's that I feel mine isn't giving me the performance that it should.

The temps aren't bad for stock cool, high 30's idle
I only have 32 system task, all below 18 k.

Memory timmings are 2 3 3 6 1t. So memory isn't the problem.

I know there are other people on this board with basically the same setup. If one out you could please post you result on super pe that would be great.
