Ok so i replaced my router today, picked up a NEtgear DG834N Range Max wireless router (lovely bit of kit)

Set it all up, connection to internet nice and strong so thought it best to reset computer to make sure it picks it up after boot.

Get into windows and my wireless mouse no longer wants to work

wont move, clicking buttons does nothing...

so currently on this horrible dell wired mouse i had lying about

any ideas what might have done this?

nah not long since replaced em and tried new ones, light is still showing on the bottom of the mouse

Tried changing the channel of the wireless router too just in case there was some interferance but to no avail....really got me foxed this one

Sounds like mine, bloody annoying, the light is still on underneath, you'd think it's still working, but I put new batteries in, and it's all good again. Might be worth doing just to eliminate that as the problem.

Edit: Ignore me, you already tried that.

problemo solved anyway, god knows why but i had to reinstall the drivers for my wireless card and when i did everything back to normal!

go figure :)
