phanom ii x4 940 on asus mother board

i wanted to ask if it would be possilbe to use am2+ socket on am2 motherboard.
Here is what i want to use. I currently have this mother board and want to get a new cpu. can someone tell me if this would work?

no as AM2 is socket 939 and AM2+ is 940
