Phenom II 955 Voltage

i installed core temp for temp monitoring purposes. i noticed that the voltage on it said 1.4 unlike the 1.488 that cpuid and my bios say. so, slightly concerned, i installed amd overdrive (only for monitoring purposes, i don't use it :P). it also says 1.4 (and doesn't go up during load). is this just an error by amd overdrive and core temp or is there maybe something wrong with cpuid/my motherboard?

also note i have had a horrible time overclocking my 955 at 1.488 V. i can't even get past 3.9 ghz without getting a bsod.

CPU-Z is pretty accurate for voltages. I trust it more than HWMonitor becuase HWM tends to round up the voltages more... so it looks like it's too high sometimes.

Eh, nothing is extremely accurate for voltages since it all uses the onboard sensor, but i tend to use everest or cpu-z when checking voltage within windows.
