Phenom ii x4 955 @ 3.8

I got my 955 to run stable @ 3.8 today. Im pretty exited seeing as this is my first "real" overclock (i had a OLD p4 slightly overclocked ). I did it through AMD overdrive and then ran the stability test for an hour.

i hate not having a black edition. im stuck at a 14x multiplier and HAVE to crank my fsb to get an overclock. i cant get my phenom 2 920 past 3.66 to save my life. makes sense though, i keep my fsb at 260 rather than 200, thats a pretty big increase on that haha. plus my motherboard wont let me add more than 150mv to the vcore. so i cant go past 1.44

man what id give for a black edition at this point :/

Nice OC man. Haven't put mine quite that far yet, haven't even tried because of not having a proper HSF at first, had to borrow a friends stock HSF from his 965BE . I love how easy they are to overclock just by bumping the multi up, they go surprisingly far on stock voltage with just multi increase
