Phone call hack

Can my phone be hacked by just someone calling me and answering my phone. I have an iPhone. Someone was talking on the other end it was just a strange call. Didn't know if that kind of hack was possible.

I don't think cell phones would be 'a thing' if that was actually realistic.

Not in what you described. But there are plenty of hacks. Do make sure your voicemail has a password.

Technically possible, but so unlikely as to worry more about getting aids from drinking seawater near an ocean outfall.

I don't see how that could be possible by answering a call, but there are plenty of exploits, especially on outdated iOS versions. Most involve malware from apps.
