I would like some recommendations for photo editing software...MS Paint isn't cutting it.

PaintShop Pro X. Don't be fooled by it's price. It's an awesome graphics tool and Photo editing program. I've use both Photoshop and PaintShop Pro and PaintShop always blows me away with all the features it has.

What do you mean? Photoshop is made by Adobe, not Microsoft.

photoshop elemements 2 or 3 or 4 is all around one of the best photo editings i have found and its cheap. I currently use 3 and i do wedding photography with a little work you can learn to use this program and it will do wonders!
