Photo Tournament: Sports

This weeks tourney subject will be Sports. Now I know not many of you get to shoot a lot of sports, so I didnt make it one specific one. Anything that is consitered a REAL sport counts :)

Let me know if you want me to be more specific and I will elaborate ;)




A tournament involves 11 entry's (so there can be 10 after the original entry from the previous winner if the previous winner doesn't choose to enter there will only be 10 entry's) The winner of the last tournament will give a theme, and those who want to participate will post their picture. When we have 11 entries I will create a poll in the Off Topic section where members can vote.

New Rules:
- Absolutely no voting for your own photo.
- No spot saving; you will only be counted if you have a picture submitted.
- Only one picture may be posted at a time, if you decide to change it, please edit the original post.
- No posting an image that has previously won a competition.
- Minor image adjustments can be made to the original image
(please play fair)

Winners will simply be the one who gets the most votes. He/she will then create another thread in which they propose a different theme for the next tournament.

Absolute max photo res is 1024x768

This was takin this past thursday. It is of my school Garden Grove Argonauts (red, black, and white) against the La Quinta Azteks (white and blue). We won 49-21 making us 7-0 for the season :)

Oh-no-you-did-n't.

I don't think many people would have pictures of sports, hopefully someone has a nice one.

Like I said, this may be a tough subject for some people, so im not being very picky. But the end result will be pretty interesting to see :)
 
I have some great close shots from when I went to a Cubs game a few months ago. Sat on the left side of home plate.

Some nice shots so far, still have plenty of room for more.

Calibretto, would you happen to have any with one of the cars in it or somthing? that is basically just a scenic shot (not much of the sport showing)

Well it's a scenic shot of a sports facility. Just like taking a picture of a football field. It fits in the sports category in my opinion but if you feel it doesn't fit than you can take it out.
