Photobucket unsecure!

Just so you folks know, and just because I'm bored, I'd like to tell you that photobucket is UNSAFE! Well, at least unsecure. I was on my friends myspace page, and one of the pictures was photobucket hosted. I clicked on the photobucket url, and simply deleted the file name, and found myself in someone else's album! So, the moral would be to not use photobucket for pictures you don't want anyone to see.

yeah lol i use it but im not worried about it because there is nothing personal on there, just pics of my comp when it froze up and i needed pics to post here

I had a photobucket account and it got banned for some reason, I had only uploaded pictures of my computer too, doesn't bother me really, I use ImageShack now

I have tons of pictures on there but nothing worth a damn...............well except the pictures of my ex, damn I hope someone gets into my account and plasters those b*stards everywhere

Photobucket has 2 options...

You can either make your entire album public so that anyone can view it or you can make it private so that people can only see the images you post or link to.

If you were able to view an entire album, then that person has left it public.

im not realy bothred if its secure on not....after all my account has only got game screenshots,Desktop pics and some cars on so nothing realy matters if it gets messed up.

i do like photobucket though because i like how you can upload loads of pictures at the same time.

i dont realy like imageshack.

meh, I'm just not to hot about leaving pictures of my family out their, and I mean hundreds! Maybe I'm paranoid, maybe not. I sleep with a knife by my bed, so probably. I guess I'm sensative because we had an unknown sexual offender from palestine (nothing against arabs at ALL) take up residence in our house, so.....

Just use imageshack.us it's the best hosting in the world.

But I use photobucket when I need to upload like 30 pics at a time for like invisionfree and stuff, but who cares if someones going to see a button?

good point. I just use it for screenshots, so I think I'm pretty safe...well, relatively safe.

If you go into account options you have a choice as to whether your album is public or private.
