this comes down to personal opinion really i would go for ATI simply for the fact they have much better product updates...or at least they update more and i never was much of a nvidia fan i've used plenty of ATI cards including an x1800 xt and i know for a fact that is a nice card i can imagine a 1900 would perform slightly better
