Picture Size Matter

Alright I need some help getting my desktop which I did a print screen on to capture CPUz and pasted it into PAINT I cut cpuz out of the picture and pasted it into a new PAINT. Now all that is in PAIN is the CPUz picture and I saved it as oc.jpg. The file is 900kb I want to know how I can get the picture to be 400kb or below.

A good hint :)). Use ALT+PRT SCR to only copy the currently open window (program). Then paste into paint. I would try saving it as gif. However a better solution would be getting hold of a semi-professional image editor software that would be able to change the quality of the JPG.

You said you already cut the picture to get the open window only, I agree that you use the ALT+PRTSCR to get the open window only to the clipboard, why? because actually you are taking less pixels by this, which will help you get a smaller photo size, and yes save the photo as Gif.

Your case is very strange, I never saved a jpg photo from a full screen from the paint and got it more than 100K ??? How did this happen to you? What screen resolution are using? If you are using a very high screen resolution, try getting it down and get your screen shot, and then paste it into the paint, this will help you greatly to reduce the photo size.
