I have two computers and they both do this.

About twice a day I have to empty my temporary files folder in order to see thumnails and small images. Especially on Myspace. Emptying the folder and restarting my browser seems to be the only cure. I have my temp folder set to hold as much as I'm allowed and it still fills up with simple net surfing.

I have posted screenshots of what I'm getting and my settings.

This is so very annoying, especially when I have to fill in a CAPTCHA and I'm not able to see the frikin' thing.

1. - How big are the hard drives???

2. - Do you empty out the recycle bin???

3. - Do you use CCleaner???

4. - Are both computers using IE6?? (Internet Explorer 6)

100 GB hard drive with 25 GB free.
Right now I can't see what version of IE I'm using, that picture isn't showing. But I have XP with service pack 2
I empty my recycle bin all the time.

You have ie6 by the looks of it. Download ccleaner and run that and see if that makes any different.

try using firefox
Or update to IE7. IE6 is way old, out-of-date, buggy, and missing heaps of features. I personally do prefer Firefox, but if it must be IE then you'll have to update. Also, I would recommend getting SP3/all other updates.

I'd just switch to firefox if I were you... if you want to keep using internet explorer though try upgrading to version 7... firefox is better though.

I used to use firefox years ago. I hated it. Sites often pulled up wrong and not like they were meant to. Downloads were overly complexed with junk. And if I remember right, it wouldn't stream mp3's instead it wanted to download them all the time. Most of all, I remember, it didn't fix the problem.

I tried Ccleaner and so far everything's good. For some reason there was 2 2GB files in a temp folder that weren't being deleted. They are gone now.

I can't update my I.E., MS's awesome over priced O/S's won't allow me to.(thumbs)
