just wondering how i can get a new fan in my lappy one with led lights and if its possible to put some lights in the inside so it shows where the speakers are ?

i have a dell 1705 lappy

if you have any idea feel free to say them !! thanks
 
The smallest LED fan I've seen is 80mm. They probably have smaller, but I seriously doubt they are laptop size. Besides, many laptop fans aren't just your common plug. I think the one in my Averatec had about 5 wires going to it! As for stuff behind the speakers, are your speakers clear?
 
well how do i even take my lappy apart to see the mobo ?? i take out all the screws but it still dosent come apart.
any advice will help!!!
 
Laptops aren't made to just pop open super easy. Many have tabs that lock when it's put together. It's very easy to break these, causing the laptop not to seal correctly(it'll work, just might have gaps or loose areas) There are usually many hidden screws. I don't suggest trying to get into your laptop unless something's seriously wrong or you know what you're doing :P
 
i just opened it up found a link off of yahoo that explained everything. you are not not very easy following what it says and taking a little extra time it can be done. and i think i may be able to put a new fan in
its just a simple plug if i can find the right size fan.
