Pin Mod?

Hi, i havent been on in a while. But i am now back! Well i was just wondering what chances are my cpu is going to overheat and die are if i do the pin mod. If you dony now what the pin mod is , it is a modification that involves a small peice of copper contacting the Socket of the CPU, the 3rd row and the 15-16 sockets. It over clocks the CPU 33% . Search it on Google you will fibd out, oh amd thanks

So this is on a laptop? Have you tried overclocking via the BIOS? Have you tried overclocking through a program such as CPUCool or SetFSB?

yup

Yep tried, Set FSB, but when restarted returned to 1.7GHz, the BIOS does NOT allow overclocking. Never heard of CpuCool, might try sometime. Thanks,

software oc tools wont save when you restart, you have to run the program and it should have a save setting.
