Hi, for about 6 months now I have had problems with a couple of websites hosted on the same server. Sometimes I am able to connect to them and sometimes not. I recently pinged them both successfully even though I couldn't access them through my browser. I also tried tried "tracert" but no success. One of them also has troubles connecting through ftp. I sometimes have to try to connect 100's of times before it actually works. It doesn't just happen from my computer either but of course my service provider and the hosting company both deny responsibility. The problem has been tested with Vista + IE7 & Firefox + cuteFTP on more than one machine (in different areas of the city). Why does pinging work but the page doesn't load? Also, the error message I got from "tracert" was: "Unable to resolve target system name".
