Pins??

what exactly do pins refer to? the only place i have seen pins listed as a spec is on newegg.com. what are they, and will i have to get memory with a certain amount of pins to be compatible with my comp? i have only seen 184 pin and 200 pin?? can someone please clarify?

Yes. The pins are where the connections are made so naturally a mismatch of pins will not work

You have eyes, but seriusly I think they have programs.

don't try to count them that's just silly. Look up your chipset/motherboard and see what kind of RAM it needs

The pins I know are 38, 72, 168, 184, 200, and I think there is a 224 pins but I don't know

get cpu-z (www.cpuid.com) and post what it says on the mainboard and memory tabs and someone will know what kind you need
