what difference do the pipelines do are these the x16, x8 and x4 things. mines pci express and x16 i was told that this was good

pci-express x16 is the best out at the moment, but its the pipelines. these are built into the graphics card themselves. the x16 x8 and x4 are the bandwith speed.

PCI-16x, PCI-1x, AGP 8x, ect have nothing to do with pipelines, its just the type of socket and speed. PCI-Express is very good for graphics cards, and the 6600 is not a bad card.
