Pissed off Dad!!!

I just bought my son a, CASE RAIDMAX|ATX-612WEB BK RT/PSU ANTEC|TP-650 650W RT combo with a 10.00 mail in rebate & a, VGA XFX|HD-687A-ZDBC HD6870 1G R with a 30.00 mail in rebate from Newegg! They said get with the manufactures 4 the info on the rebates. Does any1 know what 2 do or is this a common practice Newegg does? I feel like I've been scammed! Please help pissed off Dad?
 
newegg works well. You got mail in rebate from the manufacture.
I try to avoid mail in. Always look for instant rebate. its a sure thing.
Mail in's in the past years ago i know i did not get.
only a few, its instant ya want and right now.
 
Most of the rebates you will get within 6-8 weeks after they receive the rebate form. Make sure you follow all the rules or the rebate won't get processed correctly.
 
If the item has a rebate, just click on the rebate link on its page and most give you a printable rebate form.

for the record StrangleHold i lost to many of them. Stores and such. Months later its forgotten. Example, Something i bought local and $10.00 rebate.
Took about 4 mo and of course I wouldn't have remembered in the first place.
Ive gotten back, but have lost some. Im done with mail in. Right now and instant rebate.
 
Here's an example. My daughter bought me an Asus Eee last year for birthday. I forgot. it included a free mail in for a case for the laptop. I got it yesterday. Thats 12 months. Go figure.

It was my birthday. sorry. in March.
