I need some help understanding something about video display.

Most DVDs and just video record devices shot and record in 720 x 480

This is 720 Pix wide and 480 Pix High

And you play it on any size TV and it looks good.

But if you print out a 720 x 480 Pix image it is very small.

Please help

How big is the print paper!, lay out on that paper the 720x480 pixels, its like if you increase the amount of pixels on a computer screen (i.e. the resolution) it will get smaller since more pixels will need to be fit on the same screen size!!!
I hope that explains it!!
