Plate touching my mobo

As you can see, my face plate has a piece that comes out so it can slide into place. The other piece is just straight so it isn't 100% secured in my case. It falls a tad bit back and touches my mobo ( the second picture ) on its side.

Should this be ok? I dont want to short anything

Black lights make all the light colors in my room light up. I have a total of four inside. Been thinking about getting some of those SATA cables that respond to black light :cool:
 
What do you think that little red switch does on the new plate I was installing??

The picture is suppose to represent my success...
