PLAY TV MPEG 8000 GT [VHS to DVD] doesn't work

Hi,
I connect my JVC GR-AX237 VHS-C camcorder (http://www.jvc.com.br/produtos_manuais/GR-AX247UM.PDF) to my computer Video Cards, PLAY TV MPEG 8000 GT, (http://www.tv-cards.com/model.php?modelid=120). I want Transfer VHS to DVD.
However, the software does not read the sign of the camcorder. What's wrong?
The nero vision essential says:
CX2388x Video Capture
Unable to configure the device.
The test can not be performed. Please check the settings of the device.

That link provides no actual information about the card itself. All we see is a pretty box. Are you trying to convert VHS to digital? The link to the JVC recorder locked my Vistacrap comp.

Pick up a Video capture card for crying out loud.
