Alright PCs are not cheap here and normally peoples don't have even what i'am gonna mention below ( and few of you have probarly already saw this ) so please reply considering that :D

right.. so this is my freakin PC
256mb kingston ram ( single channel )
2.0ghz celeron ( in reality 1968.0 mhz )
80gb seagate disc 7200rpm ..
64mb Intel 82845g ( integrated card ) [ INTEGRATED! ]

so.. how much do i need more to reach frame rates which are atleast acceptable.. start with the card, offcourse!

well i think you are goin to have to upgrade your processor at least. and also a gpu and ram so it is almost time for a new system if you are going to be playing games

Even if i aim for games having 128mb ram .. 32mb video card and 7333mhz processor as their recommended specifications?

I played it on my old Athlon 1.4GHz with a Radeon 8500. It was pretty good for the most part. I think I was forced to play on Low, and it still would lag when things would jump out and what not...

If you go and get yourself another 256 or 512 stick of RAM you should be good to go. To really make it good, you go get a lower-end nVidia 6series card, or an ATI 9800 series card. Your processor is a little outdated, but I did it fine on a 1.6 GHz chip, so you should be good.

Hmm..., well with no PCI-X or AGP that might create some issues with the nice looking graphics part. However, on the low settings you still should be good to go. I believe that the low-end ATI 9xxx series are available in just PCI, look for one of those...
