playing bin/cue files with vista

when i try to play bin/cue movie files with vlc player i just get audio and no picture can some plz help?

Are you sure the player supports that format?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those file types something similar to .rar?

bin/cue files are used for cd/ dvd images. i haven't used vlc player, but I wouldn't think you'd be able to open those.

Usually you would need a optical drive emulation software that acts as a cd drive to open and run those files.

VLC does play bin files. I've done it before.
